Voltage Models - Returns Policy

Customers who make a purchase from Voltage Models are granted a 30-day period during which they are eligible to return an item to the company and receive a complete refund. This refund is contingent upon the condition of the item, which must remain in its original sealed packaging and must not have been used or charged.

The cancellation period ends 30 days from the date the goods come into your physical possession.

You can return an item for a full refund as long as it is still sealed, not opened, not activated, and/or not charged.

For a full refund to be provided the item cannot have been used in any manner. If your Tamiya product has been used and set up we can not provide a full refund as this will count as 'used'.

If your product is faulty and you were not at fault we can issue a refund/replacement.

My Tamiya Product Is Faulty, How Do I Get A Replacement

Please be aware that if you receive a faulty product from us, as long as it is still under warranty and wasn't your fault, we will take care of the problem and get you a replacement as soon as possible. To do this, please click here to ask for a return, and the instructions and information will be there.

We can set up a collection through DPD, the courier service we also use for shipping. They are a trusted and real brand in the delivery industry, and we think they're the best. They will put a label on the box you give them for your potentially broken item, so you'll need to make sure it has everything we sent you. For us to be able to return the item to the manufacturer successfully, this includes the original box and contents.

How Long Can This Process Take?

If you're returning a box or goods, please give our staff up to 5 business days to receive it, inspect it, and get back to you on the next steps. We'll take care of any repair, refund, or replacement needs after we've had a look. It may take the manufacturer 30 business days to fix your device.

How Long Do Refunds Take To Complete?

Please allow 5 working days for your refund to be complete.

If I have Used My Item - Can It Still Be Returned?

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, we are required to accept returns even if the item has been opened or viewed beyond what would be permitted in a store.

However, the item must not have been used in any way for a complete refund to be given.

Full reimbursement is only possible if the items are in "as new" condition. You should also return the original packaging and any included extras.

Charged, activated, updated, installed, and other actions all fall under the category of "using." Voltage Models has the last say on whether or not a product qualifies as "used."

Once a Tamiya product has been removed from its package, activated, and/or charged, it is considered used. Voltage Models reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 40% of the purchase price for any items returned that have been used, charged, or opened.

If Your Product Is Unwanted - What To Do?

In the event that your product is not damaged and you decide to return it, the cost of shipping must be covered by the customer. Please see below for the address where you can ship us back your order. Voltage Models recommends shipping any goods back with a tracked and insured shipment just in case of any errors that may happen in the process of shipping.
