FMS has meticulously recreated the officially licensed RC version of the TOYOTA FJ45, ensuring that the level of detail in the restoration matches that of a static model.

The hood hinge is faithfully designed to mirror the real vehicle, offering a sleek and attractive look on the 1/12 scale model. Under the hood, you’ll find the motor, steering servo, and a 2-in-1 ESC/receiver, all neatly hidden, along with the battery for easy installation. The doors on both sides can be opened, and the front windshield can be folded forward. When the roof is removed, it transforms into a convertible. By removing the screws on the slim door hinges, the doors can be completely removed, showcasing a more minimal and rugged look. With the doors removed, the cockpit becomes more transparent, allowing a clear view of the steering linkage action, and it also makes it easier to place 1/12 scale figures inside.

The two-speed gearbox delivers impressive torque, with metal gears and full bearings throughout the vehicle. This setup allows it to move steadily even when fully loaded with gravel. The TOYOTA logo at the rear accurately replicates the stamped steel plate look of the original vehicle. The tailgate opens to accommodate longer cargo, and there are two sets of taillights on the left and right of the tailgate, each featuring a turn signal, brake light, and reverse light. These lights are linked to the transmitter’s light control button, so the lighting effects match the driving actions. The front headlights also feature a linkage effect for both high and low beams, along with turn signals.
