SpektrumTM Smart G2 50C LiPo batteries provide drivers and pilots with even more Smart benefits when powering their vehicles. These LiPo packs, which have a 50C continuous discharge rating for excellent performance and longevity, are now easier and safer to use with your Smart charger thanks to new "Generation 2" capabilities.

For instance, balancing charges your LiPo batteries is significantly simpler with SpektrumTM Smart G2 technology. The IC3® or IC5® connector on each Smart G2 battery is a unique data cable that carries balancing information. This means that a single connection suffices; a separate balancing lead is not needed.

When the Smart G2 batteries are not used for 72 hours, they are factory-programmed to automatically drain to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V. Longer battery life, improved performance throughout the pack's life, and the assurance that your Smart battery requires no maintenance are some of the advantages. The battery's Auto Storage settings are modifiable to suit your personal tastes. In addition, the storage discharge rate of G2 batteries is three times faster than that of G1 Smart batteries.

Thickner internal metal side plates are another feature of the Smart G2 30C soft-case LiPo packs. These plates enhance heat dissipation and give the cells greater protection against punctures during hard landings or other impact-prone circumstances.

With a SpektrumTM Smart G2 battery, like with other Smart batteries, you won't have to customise your charging settings until you'd like to. A Smart G2 LiPo battery's embedded memory microchip uploads its specific charging parameters and health data to a SpektrumTM Smart charger when the two are connected. All that's needed to charge the pack is to connect it to your Smart charger because you can view and change options like charge rates through the charger. The rest is handled by intelligent technology.
