This model kit 1/35 scale replicas the Leopard 2 A7V. This kit employs entirely new parts and tooling when compared to the 2004 release of the Leopard 2 A6 model kit. Improved A7 (A7 is improved version of A6 and the "V" in the A7V designation stands for "verbessert," (improved) ) and features extra hull front armour and side skirts for enhanced defence. Additionally improved was the suspension to handle the additional weight of the tank. Although the A7V inherits the L/55 120mm gun of the A6, with the revised shell it can attack enemy armour up to five kilometres away. September 2021 saw units start receiving the A7V; subsequently, turret-top stowage boxes and main sight visor saw more improvements.
