Tamiya Hotshot II (2024)

In the wake of Tamiya's first four-wheel drive buggy, Item 58047 Hotshot, which was issued in 1985, and Item 58054 Supershot, which was published in 1986, the company is pleased to announce the re-release and improved version of the 4WD buggy Hotshot II. The original version of the Hotshot II was initially produced in 1987.

Plastic components were used in the construction of the Hotshot II, which resulted in a lightweight design.

  • An R/C model assembly kit in the 1/10 scale is included here. Height is 160 millimetres, width is 235 millimetres, and length is 390 millimetres.
  • When driving off-road and around curves, the shaft-driven four-wheel drive provides both speed and stability.
  • To ensure that the four-wheel drive system is utilised to its full potential, the four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension utilises CVA oil dampers (II) (one for the front and two for the rear) in conjunction with a front stabiliser suspension.
  • A lightweight polycarbonate material with a thickness of 0.7 millimetres is used for the dynamic body and rear wing, and the colour scheme has orange lines on a black basis. The body is made of polycarbonate and has been pre-cut and coated in black.
  • In order to prevent dirt and sand from entering the gearbox, it is sealed, and it also has differentials to provide smooth cornering.
  • A high level of durability is achieved by the use of reinforced plastic in sections such as the ABS monocoque frame and the suspension arms.
  • Both the semi-pneumatic oval block and pin spike hybrid tyres and the large-diameter one-piece nylon wheel are used in this combination.
  • These stickers have been updated.
  • Comes with a 540 motor and an ESC.

Fast response, extremely helpful. Good prices. Nice to deal with humans for a change. Will be using again. And I finally got my Hotshot 2. Nice trip down memory lane, thanks to these guys.
