What Sets the AXP8 Apart?

The Axial AXP8 features heavy-duty AF16P portal axles that offer impressive ground clearance. What truly sets it apart, however, is the ASD (Axial Selectable Drive) system. This advanced drivetrain locks wheels individually, delivering superior control over traditional cutting brakes. Unlike front dig, which locks the entire axle, the ASD system lets you lock either rear wheel, providing unparalleled precision and a tighter turning radius.

The front axle and new AT6 transmission are designed for optional ASD upgrades, offering even more control. With a 3-position switch on the transmitter, you can select locking or continuous 4WD functions. A 5-position switch allows you to configure the ASD system for driving, free-wheeling, or locking.

The AT6 transmission also features a 30% underdrive to the rear axle, enhancing climbing ability and maneuverability.

Built for Extreme Trail Performance

The AXP8’s performance is further enhanced by its high-articulation 4-link suspension and the IS10 internal spring shocks, which offer excellent clearance. Powered by the Axial Boulder 550 21-turn brushed motor, the power is transmitted through robust WB12 driveshafts to the officially licensed Raceline Avenger wheels and 5.5-inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T tires.
