DETAILS

1:16 Scale German DAK Panzer IV RC Tank

Bring one of the most widely used German tanks of the Second World War to life with the 1:16 scale DAK Panzer IV RC tank. Designed with authenticity and user control in mind, this model features the latest generation TK7.0 multi-function control board (MFCB), delivering proportional acceleration, steering, turret traverse and gun elevation or depression for a truly immersive experience.

All aspects of driving dynamics are fully customisable with programmable settings for recoil strength, turning sensitivity, acceleration response and speed mode. The omnidirectional proportional control offers smooth, fine-tuned movement, whether operating in high or low speed modes.

Built to handle rugged conditions, the tank includes durable tracks that are easy to service and upgradeable to metal for greater durability. Independent suspension on all road wheels, combined with a reliable gearbox, ensures confident traction over uneven terrain. Programmable track recoil simulates the firing of the main cannon with three levels of rearward shudder: low, medium or high.

Four distinct sound profiles give this tank unique character, with audio effects including engine start-up, idle, acceleration, turret movement, elevation, machine gun fire, cannon blasts and engine shutdown. Volume is adjustable across five levels to suit your environment. A glycerin-based smoke system recreates exhaust emissions, while LED headlights, brake lights and battle indicators add visual realism.

Combat-ready, the tank can fire 6mm plastic BBs up to 10 metres. Though limited in accuracy and speed, this function should be used with caution and proper eye protection. The model also includes an infrared emitter compatible with Heng Long's battle system, enabling simulated combat with up to 20 tanks. Five hits will temporarily disable a tank, which automatically resets after ten seconds.

With 320 degrees of turret rotation, 30 degrees of cannon elevation and a fully RTR (Ready to Run) setup, this Panzer IV delivers exceptional performance and striking realism straight from the box. Factory painted and supplied with cosmetic accessories, it is a versatile addition to any RC tank enthusiast's collection.

A Brief History of the Panzer IV

The Panzerkampfwagen IV, commonly known as the Panzer IV, was one of Nazi Germany's most important and widely deployed tanks during the Second World War. Serving across every major theatre of the war, from the Eastern Front to North Africa with the Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK), it evolved continuously to meet battlefield demands. Renowned for its adaptability, it featured improvements in armour and firepower throughout its production. The DAK variant, often used in harsh desert conditions, represents the resilience and strategic flexibility of the Wehrmacht's armoured forces. This RC model captures the historical presence of the Panzer IV in exquisite detail and performance.
