DETAILS

1:16 Scale U.S. M26 Pershing RC Tank

Take command with the 1:16 scale U.S. M26 Pershing RC tank, a powerful and detailed replica of America's late-war heavy tank. Engineered for enthusiasts who value realism and functionality, this model is powered by the advanced TK7.0 multi-function control board (MFCB), delivering smooth proportional control for acceleration, steering, turret traverse and cannon elevation or depression.

Personalise your battlefield performance with programmable radio settings to adjust recoil strength, turning sensitivity, acceleration responsiveness and selectable high or low-speed driving modes. Omnidirectional control ensures a smooth and intuitive driving experience across all terrain.

The Pershing features rugged, durable tracks that are easy to service and can be upgraded to metal for enhanced durability. Independent suspension and a tough gearbox provide reliable traction and power over uneven ground, ensuring optimal off-road performance.

Realistic battlefield effects include programmable track recoil with three intensity levels, simulating the tank's powerful cannon fire. The tank emits a glycerin-based smoke effect for a convincing exhaust plume and includes switchable headlights and brake lights. Audio immersion is achieved through four selectable sound sets, each featuring engine start-up, idle, acceleration, traverse, elevation, machine gun fire, cannon blast and shutdown. Volume is adjustable across five levels.

The model also features a 6mm plastic BB firing mechanism, accurate up to 10 metres. Though limited in precision and speed, it must always be used with caution and eye protection. It is also IR battle-ready, fully compatible with Heng Long's infrared combat system. Up to 20 tanks can engage in mock battle, where sound and light effects signal each hit. After five hits, the tank temporarily shuts down before restarting after ten seconds.

With 320 degrees of turret rotation, 30 degrees of cannon elevation and RTR (Ready to Run) convenience, the M26 Pershing is factory painted and comes with cosmetic accessories for enhanced scale authenticity. LED lights also indicate the tank's status and flash when it is hit during IR battles, adding to the realism.

This model is ideal for collectors, newcomers and battlefield tacticians alike, blending precision control with rich historical detail.

A Brief History of the M26 Pershing

The M26 Pershing was developed as a response to heavily armoured German tanks late in the Second World War. Initially deployed in 1945, it was armed with a 90mm gun and designed to outmatch the Panzer IV, Panther and even the formidable Tiger. Combining firepower, mobility and improved armour, the Pershing marked a transition from medium to heavy tanks in U.S. armoured doctrine. Although it saw limited action in World War II, it played a significant role in the Korean War and laid the groundwork for the U.S. Army's post-war tank development. This RC model captures the strength and innovation of the M26, offering an authentic experience steeped in military history.
