Tamiya Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406 Series U900 (CC-02)

The Mercedes-Benz Unimog, a versatile truck with unparalleled off-road capabilities, derives its name from the German term "Universal-Motor-Gerät." Now shown on the tried-and-true Tamiya CC-02 chassis, the 456 can also be outfitted with any of about 3,000 attachments for any kind of task.

The Off Road, Evolved CC-02 Chassis
Inspired by full-size vehicles, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is built for superior durability in a variety of off-road scenarios, including rocky terrain. In a 4WD setup, the motor is positioned longitudinally behind the front axle, with the gearbox and transfer case located apart, and the power is transferred to the front and rear differential gears via propeller shafts. Front and rear four-link rigid suspension are used, along with CVA oil.
