Utilising the most recent advancements in T-FHSS transmission technology, the Futaba 10J radio provides a comprehensive 10-channel system along with advanced telemetry. The telemetry transmission of signal strength, receiver battery voltage, and external battery voltage is integrated into the corresponding R3008SB receiver, and additional sensors from Futaba's extensive range can be added as needed. The big LCD screen of the 10J is used to display the telemetry data as normal; however, an earphone (not included) is also an option for audio output. The transmitter battery, delta peak charger, and full range R3008SB receiver—which has eight conventional outputs or a full ten through S-Bus or S-Bus 2 outputs, with the 10J model additionally containing an S-Bus servo—are all included in this incredibly complex setup.

In addition to having 30 model memories, the 10J has the ability to wirelessly transfer model memories to and from other 10J transmitters as well as 8Js. This functionality is quite helpful for those who have many models or transmitters. Since the 10J also supports S-FHSS transmission, all of the available FHSS air receivers—from the mini 6 channel R2106GF to the 8 channel R2008SB—can be utilised. With six freely programmable mixers on top of the 16 aeroplane, 17 helicopter, and 13 glider mixes that are pre-installed, the 10J boasts incredibly robust mixing functionality.
