The first narrow bodied European tractor model in the Tamiya Tractor Truck Series, the Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3363 3-axle truck, is recreated in 1/14 scale by this tractor truck. The German company's heavy duty tractor head, which made its debut in 2013, is the full-size topic. With its 15.6-liter inline-6 engine producing 630 horsepower, the real Arocs can tow enormous loads up to 250 tonnes.
The Tamiya model uses several metal chassis parts along with ABS plastic body parts to accurately recreate the truck's modern design. The body has replica-quality realism, as evidenced by a glance at the intricate interior and auxiliary equipment, including air tanks. Metal transfers representing emblems and multiple metal-plated parts further add to the realism of the model. The chassis is designed to durability because the resin cross members and aluminium side channels are used. Power from the front-mounted motor powers the rear axle through a propeller shaft, enabling driveability; integrated differential gears ensure seamless cornering. A Tamiya 4-channel transmitter that is sold separately can be used to change gears.
