The X-Maxx 8S Belted is a fully assembled Ready-To-Race monster truck from Traxxas, pairing the VXL-8s waterproof electronic speed controller with the Velineon 1200XL Big Block brushless motor for 50+ mph with two 4S LiPo batteries and the included optional spur gear. Mammoth 8.4-inch belted Sledgehammer tyres maintain their shape at high speed, providing a larger contact patch and responsive handling across extreme terrain. Full-time shaft-driven 4WD is routed through a Torque-Biasing Centre Drive and managed by Traxxas Stability Management, with the entyre driveline sealed inside the chassis. The modular composite chassis, aluminium GTX shocks, and a pioneering self-righting system make the X-Maxx as satisfying and rewarding to use as it is fun and exciting to drive.
