The Tamiya 1/24 scale model of the new, full-size Renault 5 will return in a Limited Production run with revised decals and an instruction manual in 2024 when the car makes a full comeback to electric vehicles.
In 1980, the Renault 5 Turbo was introduced. Built on the Renault 5, it was designed for international rally competitions. In place of seats, a 160 horsepower 1.4-liter inline-4 turbo engine was used, along with lightweight aluminium and FRP panels. This car's commanding shape, protruding fenders, and opulent interior attracted attention!
