Tamiya is pleased to announce the re-release of Item 24188 1/24 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA, which was first offered in 1997. This upgraded version comes with updated packaging, decals, and instruction manual, along with new masking stickers for the front and rear window mouldings.
This kit not only allows you to replicate the basic version but also the street-customized version, which removes the front and rear bumpers. Introduced in 1963, the Giulia Sprint GT was the most sporty of the 1,600cc vehicles in the Giulia series. It had a distinctive stepped front face, and the grille was heavily adorned with the classic Alfa Romeo shield and insignia.
The Giulia Sprint GTA, a significantly lighter race car with an aluminium shell and a twin-spark engine, was introduced in 1965. In 2025, the actual automobile will celebrate its 60th anniversary, and this kit will be a wonderful way to celebrate.
