One of the most iconic Tamiya Radio Control models has been re-released here! The "Avante" is an electric radio-controlled four-wheel drive racing buggy that was released by Tamiya in March of 1988. Since then, it has become a unique and important machine in the history of Tamiya's radio-controlled vehicles. The machine had a one-of-a-kind four-wheel drive technology that was derived from Tamiya's first four-wheel drive radio-controlled buggy, which was called the Hotshot. An FRP double-deck chassis arrangement, longitudinal motor and battery placements, and a formula-type body with chassis fairing were some of the other features that were included in its very advanced design. The vehicle was outfitted with cutting-edge components such as a compact gearbox that featured three small planetary gears, a centre differential that enhanced the vehicle's stability, a suspension that was fully adjustable, and cam-lock wheel caps.
In 2011, the Avante was reintroduced into the Tamiya collection of radio-controlled cars that the company offers. It has a few modifications, such as universal drive-shafts and machined aluminium uprights, which provide the 2011 version enhanced durability and performance in comparison to the original and give it a better overall performance. Due to the fact that the Avante was such a unique radio-controlled vehicle, many of its mechanics have been incorporated into contemporary radio-controlled automobiles.
