This is a 1990 Land Rover Defender 90 Limited-Edition Radio Control kit. This version, in contrast to item 58700, comes with a light blue pre-painted body!

The storied Land Rover off-road vehicle, the Defender 90, dates back to 1948. This vehicle is divided into three types: the Defender 90, 110, and 130, depending on wheelbase variations. The 3-door model with a 93-inch wheelbase is depicted in this R/C model.

Off Road, Evolved with the C-02 Chassis

Inspired by full-size vehicles, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is built for superior durability in a variety of off-road scenarios, including rocky terrain. In a 4WD setup, the motor is positioned longitudinally behind the front axle, with the gearbox and transfer case located apart, and the power is transferred to the front and rear differential gears via propeller shafts. Front and rear four-link rigid suspension are used, along with CVA oil dampers for comprehensive control—even on difficult rock sections. This model has grippy block-patterned tires and black wheels.
