This very accurate 1/14 scale radio control model replics the Mercedes Benz Actros 3-axle truck. Named 2012 Truck of the Year, the Actros line first appeared in 2011. Driven by a 15.6-liter inline-6 turbocharged diesel producing a maximum of 630hp, the real 3363 can pull up to 250 tonnes! 
Using ABS plastic body parts and several metal chassis components, the Tamiya version faithfully depicts the modern form of the truck. One glance at the detailed interior and auxiliary equipment—such as air tanks—will confirm that the body exhibits replica-quality realism, which is accentuated even more with metal transfers showing emblems and many metal-plated parts. Since the chassis employs aluminium side channels with resin cross members, it is built for robustness.  Built-in differential gears ensure smooth cornering; power from the front-mounted motor drives drivability through a propeller shaft to the rear axle. Separately sold 4-channel transmitters allow for gear changes.

Separately available trailers that can be connected to the coupler and span the model over a metre in length will help to accentuate the Actros's realism!
