Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3 992 TT-02
The 7th generation Porsche 911 GT3 had a horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine and a double-wishbone front suspension system, replacing the MacPherson strut. Its aerodynamic and lightweight design significantly increased its performance. The front hood made of plastic reinforced with carbon fibre, which was used for the first time in production vehicles, contributes to the lightweight design. Furthermore, a hanging style wing stay reduces drag and increases downforce.
