The flagship vehicle of Daimler AG, the world's top truck manufacturer, is the Actros series, which won the 2012 Truck of the Year award (Germany). This R/C model construction kit replicates the Actros 3363 6x4 GigaSpace model, which is powered by a 15.6-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine with 630 horsepower and twin rear axle drive. The model's exquisitely detailed body, which includes representations of the auxiliary lighting on the cab top and bumper, magnificently reflects the truck's imposing appearance. Its suspension system uses friction dampers and leaf springs, and its ladder frame chassis comprises side channels made of aluminium with resin cross members. A separate 4-channel transmitter is required for gear changes with an assembly-type 3-speed gearbox.
