Extreme 4S Power

The Velineon 540XL brushless motor, which powers the Maxx® extreme monster truck, is also featured in the Jato 4X4. The biggest motor Traxxas has ever provided in a buggy is supported by a new VXL-4sTM speed control that offers a selectable 6.0 or 7.4-volt BEC and built-in telemetry. The Jato 4X4 VXL defies the laws of physics by accelerating relentlessly to 60 mph and beyond while using 4s LiPo electricity.

Track-Ready Handling

For razor-sharp handling and ideal weight distribution, the Jato 4X4 VXL sits low and wide, concentrating its weight beneath the driveshafts. The front and rear aluminium XX-long GTR shocks optimise traction by maintaining the ultra-soft Response Pro tires of the Jato 4X4 VXL in constant touch with the ground. To achieve flat corners and transform your track performance, add the optional sway bar kit (available for separate purchase).

Extreme Strength

Jato 4X4 VXL has all the durability of Traxxas' toughest off-road vehicles thanks to factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty driveline and suspension components. Extreme HD shock towers support the suspension, and an aluminium T-Bar strengthens the chassis. The powerful torque of the 540XL motor is effortlessly converted into a big 4-wheel roost by enormous Maxx-Duty® driveshafts.

Clipless Body

For steady performance at high speeds, the Jato 4X4 VXL's form-fitting clipless body avoids the parachuting effect and cuts through the wind. For quick battery changes, the body is held firmly in place by sturdy clipless side latches that disengage in a matter of seconds. As an extra bonus, the Jato 4X4 VXL uses Sledge®'s high-downforce wing to keep its chassis anchored with durable rollover protection.
