The Slash comes factory-fitted with Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction throughout, and these parts are installed at the factory as standard.

The Slash uses a hidden clipless body mounting system that does away with traditional body clips entirely. Heavy-duty latches grip the body firmly but release in seconds for quick chassis access. Large reinforced panels replace the time-consuming clips of a conventional system and are built to resist pull-through damage.

The Slash includes a Traxxas Power Cell 8.4-volt 3000 mAh rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach top speed, along with a 45+ watt USB-C battery charger featuring iD technology. The charger delivers 4-amp fast charging and is designed to work virtually anywhere a USB-C power source is available.

The large 550-size Titan 12-Turn brushed motor delivers dirt-roosting torque and lightning-quick acceleration. An integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures, and the Titan 12T requires very little maintenance, providing consistent performance run after run.

The oil-filled Ultra Shocks use X-ring technology for a precise seal and super-smooth performance. Fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs and pistons, they feature pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips for adjusting ride height and spring pre-load. Inexpensive rebuild kits allow them to be renewed in minutes.

The Slash is fitted with tough integrated nerf bars that provide side chassis protection against the fender-to-fender impacts of track competition and backyard bashing. Integrated directly into the chassis, the nerf bars sit on each side of the truck, ready to take the knocks that come with close racing action.

The waterproof XL-5 electronic speed control features three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, and Thermal Shutdown Protection. The patented Training Mode reduces power by 50%, making it easier for new drivers to build their control skills before stepping up to full power.

The Slash's long wheelbase chassis spans 13.2in and provides superior stability on high-speed straights. With over 3.5in of ground clearance, the chassis is also designed with drain holes and a battery tray channel for routing servo wires through to the receiver.

A race truck demands a powerful steering servo, and the Slash is fitted with the Traxxas 2075 waterproof digital high-torque servo. It provides precise steering authority and speed for wheel-to-wheel racing, whether in the backyard or on the track.

The Slash features a patented sealed receiver box, with the antenna and servo wires routed neatly through a special water-tight seal. A blue O-ring seals the box to protect the receiver from water, giving you the freedom to drive where and when you want.

Slash's innovative battery tray accommodates both flat and 'hump' pack NiMH batteries. The extended tray allows battery packs to be positioned forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning. An optional battery expander kit, sold separately, is available for use with oversize batteries.

The TQ 2.4 GHz 2-channel radio system uses advanced programming for long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance. Its 2.4 GHz technology allows multiple vehicles to be raced side by side without interference. The ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving, with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Slash's licensed BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tyres offer excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement. Their authentic scale appearance and realistic performance add to the racing experience. The tyres come mounted and pre-glued to black dual-profile SCT wheels.

The Slash uses a high-performance bellcrank steering system designed to minimise bump steer. The bellcrank geometry supports precise wheel placement and increased cornering stability, forming a key part of the truck's track-ready suspension design.

Heavy-duty steel turnbuckles allow trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and are designed not to pop off during a race, making them a reliable part of the Slash's adjustable suspension setup.

The Slash uses pro-quality, high-grade metric hex-drive hardware throughout, selected for extra strength and easy maintenance. Each fastener features a black-oxide rust-resistant finish that gives the truck a high-tech look and feel.

The Slash's clipless body uses locking tabs that hold the body firmly in place but release in just seconds when chassis access is needed. The hidden latching system removes the need for traditional body clips, keeping the body's lines clean and maintaining a more realistic scale appearance.

The Slash's scale tube bumpers are engineered to handle the punishment of bumper-to-bumper bashing, designed to absorb brutal impacts during hard use. Their proportions and styling are in keeping with a true short course race truck, combining functional protection with an authentic scale appearance.

The sealed gearbox protects transmission components from dirt and rocks during use. The moulded motor plate incorporates finned cooling channels that work in conjunction with the motor's internal fan to pull air through the motor. Together, these elements are built into the motor mount as an integrated unit.

The Magnum 272 pairs all-metal gears with ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings throughout the transmission. The Torque-Control slipper clutch and metal transmission gears are built to handle any power system upgrade, including the extreme Velineon brushless power system.

The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses semi-metallic pads and finned aluminium alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.

Rubber-sealed ball bearings are used at all exposed locations on the truck. Their sealed construction provides low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments, and they are virtually maintenance free.

The planetary gear differential features hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. Requiring virtually no maintenance, its efficient design puts maximum tyre-shredding power to the wheels.
