The Extreme Heavy-Duty Upgrade Kit comes factory-installed on the Slash 4X4, replacing key drivetrain and suspension components with beefed-up parts built for ultimate strength and durability. Maxx-duty driveshafts and HD suspension arms, along with upgraded shock towers and outer suspension components, make this the strongest driveline ever offered in a Slash.

The Slash 4X4 is Ready-To-Race straight out of the box, suited to both local track racing and backyard bashing. Its track-bred chassis features an integrated transponder mount and extended battery tray for optimum weight positioning, complemented by a fully adjustable steel-link suspension and tunable oil-filled differentials.

Slash 4X4's tough clipless body is held firmly in place by heavy-duty latches that grip tightly yet release in just seconds when chassis access is needed. The hidden latching system replaces time-consuming body clips with large, reinforced panels designed to resist pull-through damage.

Heavy-duty adjustable steel turnbuckles allow trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends are built for durability and are designed not to pop off during a race.

Slash 4X4's oil-filled Ultra Shocks use X-rings for a secure seal and smooth performance. Ride height and spring pre-load are adjustable using the included spacer clips on the white powder-coated progressive springs. Ultra Shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons available.

The 12.75in wheelbase chassis gives the Slash 4X4 a stable platform for high-speed running and straight-line performance. The interlocking modular design is smooth on the underside, with nearly 3in of centre ground clearance to help avoid snagging and high-centring on rough surfaces.

Tough integrated nerf bars are built into the Slash 4X4's chassis to provide side body support and help absorb the racing impacts of fender-to-fender track competition or backyard bashing sessions.

The Slash 4X4 features seemingly bottomless, ultra-plush suspension travel designed to absorb jumps and deliver rough-track control. Performance-optimised suspension components are engineered to provide maximum articulation without binding or interference throughout the suspension's full range of movement.

The sensorless Velineon 3500kV brushless motor is built for extreme performance with near-zero maintenance. Ultra high-temperature Neodymium magnets, high-speed bearings, and a precision 4-pole balanced rotor combine to deliver smooth running and long service life in the Slash 4X4's power system.

The waterproof Velineon VXL-3s speed control is designed to deliver maximum power, featuring a large heat sink, an integrated on/off switch, and three programmable drive profiles. Built-in two-stage low-voltage detection provides full LiPo compatibility, including support for powerful 11.1V 3s LiPo packs.

A waterproof receiver box keeps the Slash 4X4's receiver safe and dry while still allowing easy access for maintenance. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented water-tight seal for true all-weather fun.

The 5-channel receiver features integrated telemetry ports that transmit real-time data to the TQi transmitter when used with the Traxxas Link app and telemetry sensors, both sold separately. In the event of signal loss, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last steering position.

The Slash 4X4 VXL's extreme speed and quick reflexes demand a steering servo that is both strong and fast. The included digital high-speed, high-torque servo features ball bearings for precise control and quick reflexes.

The Slash 4X4's BFGoodrich tyres offer excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement, with an authentic scale appearance and realistic performance that add to the racing experience. The tyres come mounted and pre-glued to 2.2in replica short course wheels.

Traxxas's patented High-Current Connectors are built to funnel maximum power through to the vehicle's electronics, and they are also designed to provide the quickest, safest charge for Traxxas batteries.

The Slash 4X4's adjustable battery hold-down accommodates a wide variety of batteries, from NiMH packs to powerful 3-cell LiPo batteries. The extended battery tray allows packs to be positioned forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning. An optional battery expander kit is available for use with oversize batteries (sold separately).

The Slash 4X4's dual-bellcrank steering design pivots smoothly even in the harshest conditions. An integrated cam-type servo saver is included to protect the steering servo from crash impacts, doing so without sacrificing steering precision.

Moulded from Traxxas's toughest composite material, the Slash 4X4's heavy-duty suspension arms provide just the right amount of flex to resist breaking, even in cold weather. From skate parks to 10-foot ramps, these arms stand up to even the most punishing drivers for non-stop fun behind the wheel.

Slash's hex-drive hardware provides a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners. The black-oxide coating provides a rust-resistant finish with a high-tech look and feel.

The Slash 4X4 VXL features a clipless polycarbonate body styled to resemble full-size race trucks. Four tough latches grip the body securely for intense action yet release in seconds for quick battery access. Bodies come pre-painted with applied decals, so the truck is ready to race as soon as you are.

The Slash 4X4's front and rear bumpers mount solidly to reinforced bulkheads to absorb impacts. The tube-style construction is designed to offer rugged protection whilst capturing the look of a true short course race truck.

The Slash 4X4 comes with the Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit already installed. Key suspension components, including axle carriers, C-hubs, steering blocks, and shock towers, are beefed up with more material and stronger construction throughout.

The Slash 4X4's slipper clutch features larger alloy pressure plates and high-temperature aluminium pads for superior power handling. Designed to deliver equal power distribution front to rear, it provides instant throttle response through the drive system and aggressive four-wheel-drive grip.

The Slash 4X4 VXL's driveline uses a rugged spur gear with large 0.8 module (32-pitch) teeth, designed from the outset to handle big brushless horsepower. The configuration provides extra strength and reliable performance, no matter how much power you pour on.

The Slash 4X4's Maxx-Duty driveshafts are built with beefed-up U-joints to handle brushless power. Large 6mm axles key into the included steel wheel hexes for strength and durability throughout the driveline.

Precision rubber-sealed ball bearings are used throughout the Slash 4X4 VXL, providing low-friction performance and protection in dusty environments. Fitted across every part of the truck, they are virtually maintenance free.

The Slash 4X4's front and rear differentials are sealed and use steel-gear internals. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals close the units tight, while the amount of locking action can be tuned by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside each differential.
