Crawler World Construction Works
Crawler World Construction Works: Opening Saturday 19 September 2026
Crawler World Construction Works opens on Saturday 19 September 2026, doors from 10am. It is a brand new indoor RC construction site built upstairs at Crawler World, where you take the controls of realistic excavators, dump trucks and loaders and move real material around a purpose built worksite.
Sessions run two hours at £15 per person with machine hire included, capped at six operators. No RC equipment needed, no previous experience needed.
This One Is About Working, Not Driving
Most RC experiences are about getting a vehicle from one end of a course to the other. Construction Works is about getting a job done.
Fill a dump truck with an excavator. Move a load of gravel across the site. Shift a stockpile, cut a haul road, clear an area and start again. The ground changes shape as you work it, so the site is never quite the same twice.
Dig it. Load it. Move it.
What Is On The Site
The site is laid out as a working plot rather than a display, with distinct areas to operate across:
Soil and earthworks for digging and grading.
Sand for loading practice and fine control.
Gravel and aggregates that behave completely differently under a bucket.
Loading and unloading areas where the excavator and dumper work together.
Haul roads connecting the working areas.
Construction zones for the bigger jobs.
Material stockpiles to draw from and build back up.
See The Machines Working
We have put a video up showing the machinery running on the terrain, which gives a much better sense of the scale than photographs do.
Six Operators Per Session
Every session is capped at six people. That is deliberate. A hands on experience stops being hands on the moment half the group is stood waiting for a turn.
Six means more time behind the controls, more chance to try different machines and different jobs, and a proper go at the site rather than a quick shot at it.
Pricing And Sessions
Experience | Price | Length | Included |
|---|---|---|---|

Construction Works After School | £6 per person | 3:30pm to 5pm | Machine hire, max 6 operators |

Construction Works runs Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with two hour sessions at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
With only six places per session, booking ahead is worth doing, particularly for weekends and school holidays.
The After School Shift
From 3:30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday, young operators can clock on for the After School Shift at £6 per person, machine hire included.
It means no need to commit to a full two hour weekend session. Finish school, come straight over, and get some digging, loading and hauling done before tea.
Six places on this one too.
Crawler World Is Changing As Well
The original crawler course is not going anywhere. It is getting simpler.
Crawler World is now £12.50 per person for two hours with crawler hire included. No separate hire charge and no need to own an RC car. Book a session, turn up, and we will provide the crawler.
Crawler World After School runs 3:30pm to 5pm at £6 per person, per hour, crawler hire included.
Fancy A Machine Of Your Own
Plenty of people leave a session wanting one for the garden. The Huina range covers most of what you will have been driving: tracked excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers, bulldozers and cranes, with working hydraulics and articulated buckets.
