Tamiya Subaru Impreza Monte-Carlo 99 - TT-02
With a drive-by-wire throttle, a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox and a 4-cylinder, turbocharged, all-aluminum boxer engine, the 1999 Subaru Impreza rally vehicle was an extremely balanced beast. This R/C model assembly kit replicates the Impreza from the first rally of the year in Monte-Carlo. Its sturdy polycarbonate body is faithfully portrayed, and its side mirrors and rear wing are made of different parts. To replicate the variety of team and sponsor logos, stickers are included. The model is powered by the versatile TT-02 chassis, which is equally comfortable on level dirt roads and highways.
TT-02: Balanced and adaptable shaft-driven 4WD
Excellent stability is achieved by the shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis' longitudinal configuration, which places the motor on the right and the battery on the left. It also has easy-to-assemble left and right suspension arms and uprights, as well as maintenance-free gearboxes. With two distinct wheelbases, two ground clearance settings, two tread setups, and ten possible gear ratios, this chassis is incredibly versatile. With its chic front bumper supports and wheel hubs styled like brake discs, it doesn't lack style either. Rally block tyres are mounted on fin-spoke gold-colored wheels.
