Tamiya 1/20 Tyrrell P34 Six Wheeler Model
This plastic model is a 1/20 size recreation of the Tyrrell P34. When the Tyrrell P34 was introduced in the Formula One world in 1975, it created a stir. It was designed to be the only six-wheeled vehicle in Formula One history. It did this by shrinking the size of the drag-inducing front tyres while maintaining contact patch area by using four tyres. At the 1976 Japanese GP, the Tyrrell P34 was dressed in an all-blue livery with yellow sponsor markings, body side stripes, and vehicle numbers. For this particular event, the names of the teams and drivers were also written in Japanese.
