The new Tracker off-road vehicle from FTX transports you back to a bygone age of 4x4 off-road driving and is our most scale-detailed offering to date.

This workhorse is equipped with everything needed to tackle even the most difficult terrain and surfaces. A 2-stage gearbox that is servo-operated and switchable makes it simple to adjust the high and low speeds for when the situation calls for them. More drivability is aided by front and rear differentials, but what happens if you get caught in a rut or get tangled in rocks? To help you gain the drive and traction you need to find your way out of problems, simply switch via the transmitter to have the onboard servos lock the front or rear diff axles, or both.

When combined with a gearbox slipper, reduced torque portal axles offer increased ground clearance as well as drive-train protection. All metal gearbox gears, diff, pinion and portal. Piggyback shocks with a semi-remote reservoir, an aluminium threaded body, and dual rate springs soak up the rough stuff.

An authentic-looking gearbox enclosure, complete with moulded inner fenders, rubber mud flaps and side plates, conceals the 25 kg metal gear rated steering servo and 20-turn brushed 550 motor for some scale realism.

The Tracker is equipped with an integrated, standalone LED light system and a wide range of bodyshell attachments made of plastic, making it ready to make memories while hiking. Oh, and you can peek at the engine by lifting the front bonnet when it's parked at home!
