With a revised name and body, the beloved and swift 4WD racing buggy from Tamiya's late 1980s lineup, the Scorcher, is back! The body design of the sturdy polycarbonate vehicle, which has a fashionable large rear wing and was heavily inspired by the original Scorcher, can be easily customised with the help of the large stickers that come with it. It is powered by the simple-to-assemble shaft-driven 4WD TT-02B and combines the controllability of the chassis with the superior grip of square spike tyres on uneven terrain. With fresh features to outshine your competitors, this off-road seasoned pro is back!

The chassis of the 4WD, shaft-driven TT-02B buggy is skid-shaped. Its four-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms and CVA shock units provides the car with confident handling. The uprights and suspension arms on the left and right are the same to make assembly easier. Both the front and rear gearboxes are sealed to prevent dust infiltration and feature 4-bevel differentials for smooth operation. Four screws are all that are needed to remove the top, which makes maintenance a breeze. Three types of pinion gears that are sold separately can be used to apply four different gear ratios, so you can match your car setup to the conditions at any given time. Naturally, the receiver case and motor cover are also included in this off-road chassis.
