Yeeeha, the throttle is slammed and the Outlaw Brushless has just let go of its rooster tail. Even while there might not be a Californian desert just outside your door, you can still pretend! The Outlaw, which is loosely modelled on the formidable Ultra 4 buggies that rise to the challenge of racing through the west coast deserts of the US, is the ideal combination of RTR entry-level fun and a dash of scale realism.

Some novel and recognisable features are located beneath the semi-scale tubular roll cage, body panels, and cockpit. Corners are handled by blue anodized oil-filled aluminium shock absorbers. The Carnage and Bugsta trucks from FTX share the same front suspension component, which features turnbuckles, universal driveshafts, completely adjustable settings, and a heavy-duty metal geared differential. Going back, the sealed shaft drivetrain, steering servo, motor, and receiver box are all supported by the moulded chassis, which is positioned in the centre.

What distinguishes the Outlaw from other off-road buggies in the FTX line is its semi-scale trailing arm rear suspension. Full size U4 buggies employ its long travel suspension with a tonne of movement to handle the erratic desert terrain. The Outlaw can tackle some of the roughest terrain because to its all-terrain super-soft tyres, which are equipped with multi-position shock absorber mounting points and telescopic sliding driveshaft for drive to the rear axle assembly.

Etronix, with their waterproof 60Amp Photon 2.1W speed control and 2950kv 4-pole motor, is the brushless system that FTX has selected. All the power required to unleash the Outlaw will be provided by the Voltz 3250mAH LiPo battery.
