The 1/10 scale ARRMA® BIG ROCKTM CREW CAB 4X4 3S BLX ready-to-run monster truck is an excellent upgrade from brushed bashing and offers an exciting blend of ARRMA® toughness, street truck style, and 50+ mph speed capability. Constructed on the robust 4X4 BLX chassis, the monster truck boasts an ultra-durable and easily maintainable design thanks to the combination of precision aluminium, sturdy steel, and composite materials. Its excellent performance and endurance have been further enhanced with an improved version.

The BIG ROCKTM 4X4 3S BLX is engineered to be both fast and durable, with thrilling smashing speeds and exceptional all-terrain resilience. Stronger chassis and retaining hinge pin plates; increased stone clearance in the steering; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; larger suspension arms for a 1.10-inch increase in width; and rubber-shielded bearings all contribute to its unstoppable performance.

It now comes with an SLR300 receiver and a SpektrumTM SLT3TM transmitter. The transmitter boasts an enhanced hand grip and trigger feel, as well as an ergonomic design that allows for extended durations of fatigue-free bashing. It also features a foam wheel for precise fingertip control. Tilt limitations can be adjusted to 50% or 75% for novice bashers, or until they are prepared to utilise the maximum speed. The SLT3TM provides a third channel for controlling optional features like lights and winches on models that have them, and it can be used with Tactic® SLTTM receivers to operate any RTR vehicles you may possess.

The BIG ROCKTM 4X4 3S BLX is now powered by an ARRMA® brushless system that includes the SpektrumTM FirmaTM 3200Kv brushless motor and BLX100 ESC. The torque, acceleration, and speed produced by this combo are amazing. Rugged engineering was used in the design of the gearbox and chassis to maximise the power of the electronics.

ARRMA® experts have refined its clever modular architecture to make component access and maintenance simple. The motor with ARRMA® heatsink and cooling fan, along with the motor plate, slipper clutch assembly, and gear cover, make up the power module with enhanced dirt management. One screw can be removed to completely separate the power module from the chassis. Three screws holding the gear cover in place can be removed to readily access the slipper clutch for modifications once the power module has been removed. Because the power module now has a sliding motor mesh design, the gear ratio may be adjusted precisely.

The electronics module of the truck is a two-piece moulding that is bolted to the chassis and houses the ESC tray, servo mount, and waterproof receiver box. To keep it safe from moisture and dirt, the SLR300 receiver is mounted inside the receiver box. The servo mounts to the side of the ultra-compact ESC, which is fastened to the top of the module for easy access to the on/off switch. It is simple and quick to remove all three parts at once.

Each differential unit is housed in the differential module's creative yoke design. The front and rear yokes may be released with just eight screws removed. After that, you can swivel the gearbox cases for differential access by detaching the power module. The 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings that come with the BIG ROCKTM 4X4 3S BLX RTR are brushless ready. The internal metal gears have been selected for dependability during severe battering, and the massive gears can tolerate enormous torque.

Unlike dogbones, the robust front, rear and midline telescopic driveshafts used in its full-time 4WD gearbox won't break under severe collisions. The ultra-reliable driving system is complemented by a straightforward, trustworthy, responsive steering assembly that has an integrated servo saver and servo horn. The waterproof SpektrumTM SPMS651 metal-geared digital servo, which has 15% more torque than the ADS-7M servo found in the previous iteration, is included with the BIG ROCKTM 4X4 3S BLX RTR.

The oil-filled, self-bleeding shocks—which now include silicone O-rings—have a tried-and-true coil-over construction that makes for easy handling and minimal maintenance. For added durability, its unique rod-end features a spring perch that is moulded in. A close-fitting body and extended height dirt protectors restrict the amount of dirt and debris that may enter the chassis tub. Both the front and rear bumpers provide impact protection.

The long, scale Crew Cab body of the BIG ROCKTM 4X4 3S BLX truck is the pinnacle of street flair, accentuated by matte black front and rear bumpers and wheels. You can tyre it on the provided dBoots® RAGNAROKTM MT tyres and go across trails, dirt tracks, and even muddy courses. Standard equipment includes an adjustable wheelie bar that allows you to have some fun doing stunts along the route.
