The UTAH, an LCG concept chassis that draws inspiration from the newest 1/10th competition rigs, is the newest addition to FTX's 1/18th collection of rock crawlers. It can tackle nearly any terrain, both indoors and outdoors. An angled forward biassed motor is mounted on the aluminium chassis frame for a very low centre of gravity (LCG).
Front and rear portal axles aid in maximising clearance over rough terrain, and servo-on-axle (SOA) designs offer sharper, more precise steering.
Big bore, adjustable shock absorbers with aluminium caps that are oil-filled and adjustable can be fitted from a variety of updated mounting points to fit your terrain. Increased track width and extremely grippy, large block tyres contribute to sure-footed driving.
The updated drivetrain, with a central driveshaft, manages the Furitek Venom brushless system, which produces incredibly smooth torque and power. When combined with the 2-speed gearbox and servo shift, this allows for a button-press speed increase from rock crawling to rock racing.
Finished off with a low-profile, stealthy bodyshell, the UTAH is prepared to become your go-to crawler at any time or place!
