FTX Outback Texan 1/10 Trail RTR - Green

Inspired by the iconic pickup trucks of the 1940s and 1950s, the new FTX Texan combines the most recent advancements in RC crawler chassis design with classic throwback styling. The scale exhaust stack, external airfilter, moulded grill, wipers, mirrors and a moulded flat-bed rear roll cage with spare tyre are just a few of the classic cab body's elements that will initially catch your eye. You can select between a panel wood or chequerplate finish for the two distinct decals that we have included for the back flat bed!

The Texan has a magnetic front fastening, a hinged back for a clean, uncluttered scale appearance, and no body clips or pins for simple, rapid chassis access. A low profile, cantilever rear shock absorber setup serves as the foundation for a flatbed rear component underneath the Texan. Beadlock wheels, a dust cap, and moulded internal wheel arch linings all contribute to the scale authenticity.

Both front and rear aluminium CNC shock absorbers and dual-rated front springs are standard. Weight bias and climbing capabilities are significantly increased with the battery pack positioned farther forward and the motor and Etronix 15 kg servo positioned directly over the axle.

While the new gearbox design now turns the front and rear axles in a clockwise and anticlockwise way to help lessen the impacts of torque twist, the split gearbox design allows for a lower centre CofG centre gearbox that can better accommodate interiors.
